Student Advisory Board (SAB) in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences
About
The Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a student-led organization for students majoring in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS). SAB is dedicated to keeping students informed about new developments and engaged in opportunities within the SLHS major. This is primarily achieved through the creation of the “Student Voice” newsletter that is published twice a semester and sent out to all SLHS undergraduate students. The Student Voice newsletter serves as a valuable resource that students can use to learn about SLHS events, faculty members, frequently asked questions, lab opportunities, and advice from SLHS students. Additionally, SAB organizes events, often in collaboration with other SLHS clubs. These events promote student involvement in research labs, minors, observations, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
